Eitoku is a man of short stature, knowingly and embraces such a fact. His long, slender form is fitted with usually more fabric than one would for the appropriate weather, almost as if he was covering something on purpose for shame or, some other reason. His gaze carries a heated flirtation to it, seeming as if he'd eat the viewer in one singular bite if offered. Or perhaps he'd do it anyways even if not offered. Honeyed words drip from chapped lips as he makes his greetings with a sharp canined grin.

The son of the Chikafuji family, Eitoku wasn't born to greatness. His family was none but a humble folk of rice farmers in the countryside of Doma. Born during the Garlean occupation, Eitoku was taught to despise the Domans from a young age. His upbringing was nothing of note, minus one particular moment in his childhood that had changed everything forever for him.
A traveling merchant, one from far, far away had come to his tiny village school. As the children gathered from far distances to hear the stories of the far off lands, Eitoku was skeptical of such a place beyond what he knew. It was then he learned of such a magical place of Sharlayan and all that existed there. Being surrounded by an older population in his village, he had wanted to do more than just work in the rice paddies with his family for the rest of his life. It was then when he decided to make it his goal to make it into the prestigious Studium to become one of the 'magic stick people' as his peer had called the sages in the books they read.

His days were now dedicated to studying, day in and out from sunrise to sunset. He was nothing but driven as a child to meet any goal he had, whether it be to have the first portion of his meals to get the best pickings or something as lofty as the Studium.
And his efforts paid off as his acceptance letter had arrived just as he turned of age. But not everything about that day was sunshine and rainbows, the shouts of congradulations becoming of horror and fear. The Garleans had arrived, a fire throughout the village as the Miqo'te had run to get his siblings out of his family home. He had barely made it out with his life as his flesh was forever warped with the flames.
His goodbyes were bittersweet, not able to truly say his thanks to his family and express his love before he had to gather all he had. Eitoku had to make a run for it on the boat to Kugane to make it to the Studium lest his dreams and efforts be for naught.
A single tear trailed down his cheek before the floodgates had opened, all his sorrow and longing for his homeland to be free coming out at once as his home was on the horizon.

It was at the Studium where he went to study and had received the worst treatment of his entire life. Rampant bullying in his higher education years wasn't something he had expected at all while at the place of his dreams. He'd gone to stealing private novels and tomes from the restricted section of the library in his free time. It was there where his interest in the necromantic arts was piqued. Necromancy, speaking with the dead and reanimation was fascinating to the now young man.
When not reading forbidden topics, he was a top student, despite the horrible treatment he endured day to day. Eitoku was greatful to leave such a horrible place, swearing to only return if it was absolutely necessary as he left.
Becoming an official sage, Eitoku had many opportunities to be paid for his efforts in the form of a fanciful job. They were all denied in favor of helping those who couldn't afford proper medical care. All they had to do was exchange the Miqo'te for their secrets, their nitty gritty secrets. He lives a simple life, but it's his own.
